The MA in Education with emphasis in Curriculum & Instruction is a graduate degree program that will prepare students to become master educators for public, private, and governmental institutions. Graduates will be prepared to serve as directors of instruction and curriculum subject matters specialists, supervisors of student teaching and college professors of curriculum and instruction. The program is being offered now in Carlsbad and Farmington.


NMSU’s teacher preparation program has been accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) since 1962.

Required Credit Hours
