Strategies for mobile friendly online/blended courses (under development by interested NMSU faculty)

Academic planning–from Provost Parker:

“We are NOT expecting faculty to suddenly convert their courses to full-blown online delivery methods using modern online delivery/pedagogical standards.   We are talking about low entry-point technologies that can:

(1) facilitate synchronous faculty-student communications, e.g., AdobeConnect

(2) use of Canvas to distribute/collect materials and assignments, take attendance, etc.  Of course, the colleges and their faculty are empowered to be creative and use all appropriate strategies and resources available to them, all toward the goal of preventing virus transmission.  Academic Technologies is here to help.”

Note: Academic Technologies has moved up/accelerated their timeline for Zoom access and integration, to enable Zoom systemwide as soon as possible. Look for additional updates soon.
