Dr Salas holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum & Instruction with an emphasis in multicultural studies and critical theory. Her minor is in the area of bilingual/multicultural special education. Prior to coming to NMSU, she worked at the University of New Mexico in their teacher training program. Currently, she teaches the curriculum course in special education, multicultural/bilingual special education, and qualitative studies.
